Coach/Manager:
Congratulations on your team’s acceptance into the Cerritos Memorial Challenge Cup 2016, the premier youth soccer tournament!
Please take a moment to read through this page carefully and contact our tournament director if you have any questions.
The Tournament Committee advises you to immediately do the following:
1. Submit travel documents for USYSA teams outside of Region IV through your appropriate sanctioning organization. For US Club a copy of your US Club roster printed from the US Club website. Participation in the Tournament is conditioned upon proper receipt of the appropriate travel documentation.
2. Ensure your player roster in your on-line application is complete and up-to-date at all times.
3. MANDATORY REGISTRATION – Teams must check in at the MANDATORY REGISTRATION. Check in minimum 60 minutes before your first game at the venue your team is scheduled to play at. Check in tents will be located at tournament headquarters and/or the venue where your first game is being played. Failure to check in will result in automatic disqualification (without reimbursement) from the tournament.
Team Certification and Registration:
At registration, teams must submit the following documentation depending on the affiliation status of the team (USYSA, US Club, AYSO). All players on the team must play with the proper affiliation documentation (USYSA, US Club, AYSO). Each player must be playing under the same affiliation documentation.
Failure to submit the required documents will result in the team or individual players being disqualified from participation. U8-U10 teams may register up to fourteen (14) players. U11-U19 teams may register up to eighteen (18) players.
We allow Unlimited Guest Players.
Teams Registered with Cal South:
1. Player Cards: Valid, laminated player cards with a photograph for the 2015/2016 season for each player.
2. Medical Release Forms: Medical release forms signed by a parent or guardian for each team member.
3. Team Roster/Game Card: At Registration, each team will be given a Team Roster/Game Card form to complete. Once finalized at Registration, players not listed on the Team Roster/Game Card will not be allowed to play. Only players with complete appropriate documentation will be allowed to appear on the Team Roster/Game Card. Team rosters will be printed from the team’s application in the TGS on-line system.
USYSA Teams Registered Outside Cal South:
1. Player Cards: Official laminated player cards with a photograph for the 2015/2016 season for each player.
2. Travel Papers: All USYSA teams traveling from outside of Region IV must provide appropriate travel documents approved by their State Association. USYSA Travel Papers consist of an approved
Permission to Travel AND an approved roster of all players who will be traveling. Only players listed on the approved Travel Roster will be eligible to participate. Additions or substitutions of players after initial submittal will require an amended Travel Roster which must be approved by your State Association.
3. Medical Release Forms: Medical release forms signed by the parent or guardian for each team member.
4. Team Roster/Game Card: At Registration, each team will be given a Team Roster/Game Card form to complete. Once finalized at Registration, players not listed on the Team Roster/Game Card will not be allowed to play. Only players with complete appropriate documentation will be allowed to appear on the Team Roster/Game Card. Team rosters will be printed from the team’s application in the TGS on-line system.
United States Teams Registered Other than USYSA:
1. Player Cards: Official and valid laminated player cards for 2015/2016 with a photograph for each player.
2. Travel Papers: The appropriate travel documentation from the association to which your team is affiliated (e.g. Super Y League, and US Club Soccer). For Super Y League or US Club Soccer (this includes ECNL), it is the approved roster printed from the US Club Soccer player registration system.
3. Medical Release Forms: Medical release forms signed by the parent or guardian for each team members.
4. Team Roster/Game Card: At Registration, each team will be given a Team Roster/Game Card form to complete. Once finalized at Registration, players not listed on the Team Roster/Game Card will not be allowed to play. Only players with complete appropriate documentation will be allowed to appear on the Team Roster/Game Card. Team rosters will be printed from the team’s application in the TGS on-line system.
International Teams:
The Cerritos Memorial Challenge Cup has been granted approval from the United States Soccer Federation to accept Foreign teams.
1. Player Cards: Official and valid laminated player cards from your Federation with a photograph for each player. We also accept valid International Passports.
2. Travel Papers: The appropriate travel documentation from your Federation.
3. Team Roster/Game Card: At Registration, each team will be given a Team Roster/Game Card form to complete. Once finalized at Registration, players not listed on the Team Roster/Game Card will not be allowed to play. Only players with complete appropriate documentation will be allowed to appear on the Team Roster/Game Card. Team rosters will be printed from the team’s application in the TGS on-line system.FIELD ASSIGNMENTS & SCHEDULES:
Schedules released in advance of the tournament are subject to change. Reconfirm your schedule. Pay particular attention to field assignment for each of the three days. Field assignments may change during the tournament.
